Change Windows Mail compose settings

You can use the Compose tab in the Windows Mail Options dialog box to change settings related to creating new messages. To access the Compose tab:


1.     Open Windows Mail.

2.     Click the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Compose tab.



Change the font used for new messages


Under Compose Font, you can choose the fonts that you use for creating new e‑mail and newsgroup messages. Click Font Settings next to Mail or News to change the default font for that message type. Set the default stationery


Under Stationery, you'll find options for selecting the default stationery used for e‑mail and newsgroup messages. For more information on creating and using stationery, see Choose stationery for Windows Mail messages.



Automatically include your business card with new messages


Under Business Cards, you can select a default contact card to include as an attachment with messages that you compose. For information on how to create a business card, see Managing your contacts.
